Videos

Things are becoming a little strange... enrollment is down, and some of my classes are being cancelled/combined. THis isn't a good thing, because it means my already low amount of hours are being reduced even more. This is going on with a lot of friends I have here, who are down to working 15...10... even 5 hour weeks. I'm looking at the situation, and hope it changes. If not, I might be going home... I'll keep you all informed.

IN the meantime, I bought myself a new 1 gig memory card for my camera, which is a marked improvement from my old 128 mb one! As a result, I can actually make videos with my camera. So, this morning I went out on my scooter and got some videos around Tainan. It isn't much, and they are a little shaky, but it's something :)

All of the videos are in Windows WMV format.

Video 1 - Taken through the famous Tainan "Toxic Tunnel". It's called this because (before they installed the blowers), one had to hold their breath while going through it - the engine fumes from the scooters tended to collect, and driving through it was literally hazardous to your health.

Video 2 - A drive through the campus of National Cheng-Kung University in Tainan.

Video 3 - A fun hidden camera thing of me buying a sandwich and soda in the local 7-11.... Gotta love the cheezy Chinese pop music :)

Holy crap - you're giving me a heart attack swerving in and around those cars! How are you holding the camera?
