Noodles - the manna of the God(s)
Ah, noodles. If you can't get them fresh, you gotta get them dried. Pre-packaged instant noodles are everywhere here... supermarkets have entire asiles here devoted to them. They come in a wide variety of flavours, sizes and styles. Some feature delicious displays of what's inside on the top, others feature a stern looking Chinese chef whos steely eyes reflect the centuries of cooking history that ran through his family that provided you the freeze-dried bounty that lies within.... With that in mind, I bring you a bryanpassifiume.com exclusive - the INSTANT NOODLES.
What a delicious presentation. Tender cutlets of beef, lush vegetables and springy, tender noodles. I can't wait to dig in...
Oh.... how unencouraging. A clump of noodles and two packages. Well, maybe the bounty comes in the form of the provided VEGETABLE SACKET.
Hmm.. I think I liked it better before I added the grey. But maybe the tender beef slices will appear after I add the water
Viola! The final product. Hmmm... sure doesn't look anything like the front of the package. Oh well, it still tasted pretty good, even though the slices of beef turned out to be nothing more than glorified beef jerky. It's still a good meal for 30NT (just under a dollar Canadian).

Oh God - grey meat. Gross.
Grey meat...mmmmmmmm!!!! Yummy! Reminds me of my army reserve days! :-)
Actually, reminds me more of college a few weeks before my OSAP arrived! DOH!
Ummm.. That looks much more tasty than the ones I had with the gristly piece of mystery meat in the package... Typically the ones with the Asian chef starring triumphantly out in the distance have these...
Try the mushroom (flavored) noodles in the smaller 330 is ml cup.. Those are good.. Having sampled all of them..
Also very good is the noodle salad with wasabi topping.. Not all 7-11 have them and it is a bear to make but the wasabi is good..
